The Dean’s List “Generation X” release party NYC

On May 2nd, Boston based hip hop group The Dean’s List invaded NYC for their album release party and concert. The band was greeted with a full house at Santos Partyhouse. In my opinion their new album “Generation X” is a classic. It’s replay value is incredible and the subject matter is relatable. Check out some shots from the show.

The other day I met up with 21 year old Brooklyn native Jeremy Mitchell. Jeremy is the creator of a jewelry line called Anti.Beads. He specializes is in premium bracelets. I first met Jermey in SoHo when he approached me about my website. I was impressed with how ambitious and focused he was. A couple months after we first met Jeremy messaged me and told me he had made me a few bracelets. Check out his website and show some support HERE.

Miike Snow Terminal 5 4/24

On 4/24 Swedish electro-pop band, Miike Snow closed off their 3 night residency at Terminal 5 with a sold out show. Being that I am a fan of the band I did not want to miss this rare opportunity to hear the band perform in the states. I have never seen a show like they put on before, synth heavy, electro sounds with smooth vocals. Definitely a must see if you have an opportunity, wether your chilling with your boys or on a date. One of my favorite magazines took teen pop superstar, Justin Bieber and threw him on the cover for their 10th anniversary issue. I don’t think anyone in the industry could have predicted this, a predominantly urban magazine taking a teen sensation, giving him a beat up look and doing an in-depth article about his new direction to reach a more mature audience. The video from the shoot is what surprised me the most, almost surreal to see Justin in a boxing ring. Check it. For the record I do think “Boyfriend” is a banger.

Zoo Kid: Out Getting Ribbs

My good friend, Brian Wood put me on to this young British artist the other day. The musicians name is Zoo Kid aka King Krule and currently resides in the UK. If this track had to be described I’d say it was a techno infused, indie, Broken Bells type record He recorded the song when he was 17 years old but I swear he sounds like he’s passed 40, surreal. Check it.

Down With Webster “Studio Sessions” pt 10

In February we invited the Canadian hip hop rock act, Down With Webster to perform for “Studio Sessions”. Down With Webster is known for their incredibly energetic live shows that draw thousands of fans all over North America. This was by far the biggest project we have ever taken on.
